Yes. All users must be at least 18 years old, per our Terms of Service. Accounts belonging to minors are terminated immediately.

Regions are available for monthly rental in several sizes. Contact us or check the World section of this site for current pricing and availability — your region can be online within hours.

3RD Rock Grid supports two independent currency systems: L$ operated by PODEX, and G$ operated by Gloebit. Each region uses one system or the other — never both. By default, if you order land, the currency system will be L$ (PODEX), but can easily be changed later if you choose to do so.

Absolutely — 3RD Rock Grid is Hypergrid-enabled and welcomes visitors from across the OpenSim metaverse. Point your viewer’s map at our Hypergrid address (http://grid.3rdrockgrid.com:8002) to teleport in. Remember, while you’re here, our Terms and Community Standards apply.
