Firestorm Viewer

Firestorm Viewer works well in 3rd Rock Grid, however many features are missing. Currency Symbol is incorrect, Search goes to SL Search.

Firestorm comes with 3rd Rock Grid built in. However, you must enable the choice to log into grids other than SL. This setting is in Viewer->Preferences->Advanced->Allow Logon to Other Grids. When you check that option, you'l be able to choose 3RD Rock Grid.

Key Settings: Viewer->Preferences->Network->Maximum Bandwidth 750; Viewer->Preferences->Advanced->Allow Logon to Other Grids checked;

Imprudence Viewer

Imprudence Viewer supports all of 3rd Rock Grid's features including the start page and all in-world search features.

If 3RG does not appear on the list of grids, choose Edit->Preferences->General->Grid Manager.

Select the option: "Add Grid" or "New Grid"

Enter name of grid: 3rdrockgrid

Enter the following in Login Uri: http://grid.3rdrockgrid.com:8002/

Then select the "Get Grid Info" button, this will update the remaining information. Click "Save" or "OK" . Close the grid manager. Then select 3rdrockgrid in the grid list.

Key Settings: for 1.3.2 viewer: Edit->Preferences->Advanced: check "use HTTP Texture Fetching"; Edit->Preferences->Network->Maximum Bandwidth 750

Singularity Viewer

Singularity Viewer supports all of 3rd Rock Grid's features including the start page and all in-world search features.

Kokua Viewer

Kokua Viewer is a V3 viewer from the makers of Imprudence. It does not support all of the 3rd Rock features (search, profiles, currency symbol, go to SL). As this viewer matures, it will be a recommended V3 viewer for 3RG. It is still an experimental viewer in Alpha release phase.

The 3rd Rock Grid will appear as a grid selection automatically.

Phoenix Viewer

Phoenix Viewer works well in 3rd Rock Grid, however many features are missing. Currency Symbol is incorrect, All(web) Search goes to SL Search (other search tabs work as expected) and the Start Page is not used.
