Gems Collectors to share in the 50,000  Geode (GO) Treasure Trove

From July 14th to December 31, as part of the 3rd Rock Grid Vrtual Games, 3RG Citizens will be receiving Gem rewards that can be collected up over time in order to be able to receive a share of the 3RG Virtual Games Treasure Trove. [see (1) and (2) at the end of this article]

During the Games, 3RG citizens will have an opportunity to accumulate gems represeting their share in a pool of virtual funds (Geodes), or redeem their Gems for virtual items, land payment credits for land holders, virtual land, and other awards. We will also be collecting donations for the Doctors Without Borders Charity. We recognize some may prefer to donate the value of your gems to this very worthy charity; you will be given the opportunity to do so as an option when the redemption period arrives.

There are currently Four Gem catagories available, each catagory represents the type of participation at each of the events as well as activities and actions that would cause a gem to be rewarded.

GEM REWARDS

	You will be rewarded Ruby Gems into your 3rd Rock Grid Virtual Gem hud if you do one of the following: Attend an event during the 3rg Virtual Games (Ruby Gems) Attend a Gem event during the 3Rg Virtual Games period Stay at an event and remain active for a period of time Stay at an event until completed   Gem Ruby awards will be given from an automated hud and defined in advance
	You will be rewarded Emerald Gems into your 3rd Rock Grid Virtual Gem pouch if you do one of the following: As an event participant (Emerald) Participating as contestants in the Competitions, Games, or Adventures Score in the top brackets  (each event different values) Participate in multiple events for bonus gems     Gem Emerald awards will be defined for each ot the Gem events and given by event staff after the event based on the Host report.
	You will be rewarded Sapphire Gems into your 3rd Rock Grid Virtual Gem pouch if you do one of the following: Be a Gem event Staff and support person (Sapphire) Sponsor (host) a gem approved event Be an event Gem Specialist (person responsible for awarding Gems, at events) Participate in the 3rd Rock Grid Welcoming and tour staff. Be an event Organizer/Observer/contest Judge Originate and create a new 3rgVG event idea Donate items to the treasure trove Donate Funds to increase the size of the treasure trove     Gem Sapphire awards will be defined for each ot the Gem events and will be assigned by event staff.
	You will be rewarded Diamond Gems into your 3rd Rock Grid Virtual Gem pouch if you do one of the following:   As a Virtual Creation Competition (Diamond) Participate as a competitor in any of the Virtual Creation Competitions Be one of the top winners in the event categories, for additional Gems Additional rewards as defined by the rules of each Diamond event   Gem Diamond awards will be defined for each ot the Gem events and given out by event staff, based on event criteria and judges decisions.

The 3RGVG Treasure Trove
Information and anticipated distribution percentages

The 3RGVG Treasure Trove is a fund established to hold the Geode funds and prizes that will be distributed at the end of the 3RG Virtual Games to Gem Holders:

The Treasure Trove may be increased over the course of the event, but it will not be reduced.

To determine the payback of the Geode balance in the Treasure Trove, we will use the following split (by Gem type)

Any Geode donations to the Treasure Trove are considered non-charitable contributions even thought 10% of the donation will go to Drs w/o borders. Other in-world items can also be donated to the event for event prizes, charitable donation, or to be included in the non-gem treasure Trove.

Additional methods for the accumulation and redemption of Gems and changes to the scheme stated above are possible and will be announced in the event of such a change or addition.

(1) An inworld HUD will be worn by all citizens who wish to accumulate Gem Credits, The HUD must be active to receive credits.
(2) Gem Reward Treasure will be awarded within 15 days of the end of the 3RG Virtual Games Final Judging period which will follow the December 31 end date by no more than 15 days.
