3rd Rock Grid (3RG) Land Available to Citizens

Community Regions (Community Core and Access):
3RG citizens have access to 25 regions designated as community-owned. Input from all citizens is welcomed and encouraged for these regions, as these are the regions first seen by new citizens and because these regions are a place where all citizens gather, work, and play together as a cohesive community. New 3RG citizens arrive in Our Town, which is the region at the center of the core. the 9 core regions are shown above in orange.
Please contact the 3RG Community Council or attend the 3RG community meeting (Saturday, 2: PM 3RG/Pacific time), if you would like to contribute to these regions or other areas of Cummunity activities.
Navigable Water Regions (Community and 3RG Access):
3RG's core includes 16 regions that are mostly water. While all single regions or groups of regions will be found to be surrounded by what appears to be water, only navigable water regions allow travel into and/or through the water area. There are additional Navigable water regions owned and operated by 3RG that are not community managed.
Preform Regions (3RG Core Ring):
These regions are available as a ring of regions that surround the community core, They can be held with 7500, 15,000, 30,000 or 45,000 prim. To become a land holder of a preformed region, contact support@3rdrockgrid.com. Note that these regions are pre-terraformed and include walkways to and from the community core. Some of the areas are zoned for parcels, some for full or multiple regions. Minor terraforming may occur on thise regions and parcels, as long as they do not materially change the "look" of the area. Transfer Region (3RG Reserved):
Not depicted in the image above is a region named "Transfer Region." This region has been made available to citizens for transferring items from another grid into 3RG. Please remember that copyright law applies, and for anything and everything brought into 3RG in any manner, citizens must either own the copyright or have obtained permission for use from the copyright holder.
Public Sandbox regions:
Sandbox are made available for all citizens to use, there is a 2 week retention period for builds at the 3Rg Sandbox Regions.
Other reserved Regions:
HRI HRII and Point are reserved regions and not available for lease.

For every one full private region a citizen holds of any of the sizes above,
a maximum of four (4) add-on regions may also be held.
Add-on regions must be connected to the land-holder's qualifying regions,
by themselves or another other add-on regions.

3RG Land Changes
After a region is held, the land-holder may make changes to the region specifics, some of which have fees attached, as follows:

Land use fees current at the time of the change will be applicable for the affected region(s)
There is no fee incurred by increasing a region's prim allowance. However, land use fees current at the time of the change will be applicable for the affected region(s). There is also no fee charged, if a region must be moved to a different area to allow the addition of new region(s).
If a region is found to be over the prim count allowance, the month that the overbuild occurs will automatically increase the land holding fee to the level that the prims total shows, and will remain at the higher level. Note that a fee will be charged to reduce the land use allowance and that fee will be at the then current prim usage rate.

New region holding requests should be sent to support@ 3rdrockgrid.com and the PayPal payment account is paypal@my3rdrg.com or use the website region order system.
Be sure to include for every region ordered: (use the note feature when making your initial payment)
Desired region name, desired prim allowance, real name and adress information, avatar first and last name of owner, and if a particular location is desired also indicate so.
Payment of setup fees for each region and one month's use fees for each region is necessary before the region will be setup.
